Letter writing competition organized by Indian Postal Department

Una 28 September: The Indian Postal Department is organizing a letter writing competition on the topic 'Importance of Letters in Digital Age'. Starting from 14 September 2024, this competition will run till 14 December 2024. The competition will be held in two age groups up to 18 years and above 18 years, in which any citizen can participate.

The competition will be held in two age groups up to 18 years and above 18 years, in which any citizen can participate. 
Giving this information, Superintendent Post Office Una Bhupinder Singh said that to participate in this competition, participants can choose Hindi / English or local language. Entries can be written on 1000 words on A-4 size paper or 500 words on inland letter. Only handwritten entries will be accepted, which can be submitted to your nearest sub-post office. 
Bhupinder Singh said that the person securing first place in Himachal Circle will be given a cash prize of Rs 25 thousand, second Rs 10 thousand and third place will be given a cash prize of Rs 5 thousand. While on securing first position at national level, Rs. 50 thousand will be awarded, second Rs. 25 thousand and third Rs. 10 thousand will be awarded in cash.
He informed that students can submit their application in the office of Postal Division Una through school head. He appealed to the people of the district to come forward to participate in this competition and also motivate their children to participate.
