Therefore, Mother Language Day should be celebrated every year on 21 February all over the world in memory of the martyred students. In 1999, UNESCO passed a resolution in favour of celebrating 21 February as Mother Language Day of the people all over the world. Now in Punjab also this day is celebrated with full enthusiasm at government and non-government level.
He said that children learn fast in their mother tongue, due to which the country progresses fast. Because it is through mother tongue that people connect with their history, culture and environment, through which they learn from their martyrs, warriors and ancestors. Mother tongue is very important to build a better and modern society.
So we should always connect with our mother tongue and always read our history and biography of martyr warriors so that we stay away from bad deeds. Kamaljit Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Parveen Kumari, Dinesh Kumar, Manjit Singh and Maryj were present on this occasion.
