
Deputy Commissioner inaugurated the inter-state youth exchange program
Una, February 20- Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal inaugurated the five-day inter-state youth exchange program organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra Una and Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in Una on Thursday. On this occasion, he inspired the youth about their important role in nation building.

25 young participants and 2 escorts from Gwalior, Morena, Vidisha, Rewa and Khargone districts of Madhya Pradesh have participated in this program. The participants will get an opportunity to closely understand the rich cultural heritage and development model of Himachal Pradesh.
On the occasion of inauguration, the Deputy Commissioner said that such programs provide an excellent opportunity to the youth to communicate, exchange experiences and understand cultural richness. When youth from different states connect with each other, their ideas expand and they can play a more effective role in nation building.
Apart from this, he said that a lot of information and ideas come on social media which are sometimes confusing. Therefore, the youth should focus on the goals of life so that they can be achieved in time. Commitment to your goals and focusing on your own direction is the key to success.
Personality development sessions, Shramdaan, Swachhata Abhiyan, cultural presentations, yoga and health awareness sessions will be organized under the program. Also, the participants will be taken on a tour of the major places of the district and will be taken to Mata Shri Chintapurni.
Nehru Yuva Kendra District Officer Pradeep Kumar said that the purpose of this event is to introduce the youth to different cultures and traditions, so that they can understand the importance of unity and inclusiveness and make their role more effective in the development of the nation.
On this occasion, NSS District Nodal Officer Lily Thakur, Akash Davindra Sahu from RSETI, and others were present.
