During a routine night training mission in the Barmer sector, an IAF MiG-29 suffered a serious technical malfunction, forcing the pilot to eject, the Air Force said in a post on X. The pilot is safe and no loss of life or property is reported.
The Air Force said that a court of inquiry has been ordered to investigate the cause of the accident. Barmer District Collector Nishant Jain, SP Narinder Singh Meena and other district administrative officers have reached the spot.
