17 February Hoshiarpur- Lok Sabha member Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal distributed items of daily need to the students in Government Senior Secondary School of village Janouri under a program. This program was organized in collaboration with Sahara Welfare Society. Hoshiarpur MP Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal was the chief guest on this occasion. Addressing the students, he emphasized the importance of education and the need for an educated society.
Cultural presentations were also given by the students during this program. These included folk songs, folk dances and dramas. The students won the hearts of the audience with their talent and everyone appreciated their efforts. Giving information about this event, President of Sahara Welfare Society Renu Kanwar said that her organization has been working in the field of social service for the last several years.
On this occasion, Dr. Raj praised this step of the society and said that for the bright future of children, we all need to take such steps so that children can get inspiration and facilities for education. Dr. Raj congratulated the members associated with this organization and the school staff for the successful program and encouraged the children. On this occasion, school principal Ranjit Singh, teachers Jagjivan Prakash, Anju, Shyam Kumari, Sarabjit and Ram Lal were also present.
