Hoshiarpur 14 February- Why do politicians see the constitution only during the election season and turn a blind eye to the violation of constitutional rights the rest of the time? Education in Punjab has been limited to changing the names of schools or Smart and School of Eminence. In this regard, Labor Party President Jai Gopal Dhiman has strongly condemned the constitutional damage being caused to the education of children by keeping Government Middle School Jian (Smart) dependent on a single teacher and deliberately keeping the posts of Punjabi-Hindi-SST and Sevadaar vacant in the school.
He said that neither the country can become a world power by raising the level of illiteracy nor Punjab can become a colorful Punjab. It is sad that primary schools are teacherless and have single teachers, but now middle schools are also becoming single teacher. Dhiman told that there are 12 children in class VI, 11 in class VII and 8 in class VIII. 08 children study in the school.
He said that poor people want to educate their children, but due to lack of teachers in schools, they prefer to send their children to work instead of sending them to school. Then free and compulsory education is a matter of disgrace in the eyes of people all over the world. There was a time when it was written on the walls of schools that always speak the truth. Doing this would be very dangerous. Only education can bring the country on a scientific path.
He said that this mistake of the government is not an ordinary mistake, it is a direct constitutional interference with the future of children. Tampering with constitutional rights is a big sin and crime in itself. If the constitution is to be violated by sitting on constitutional chairs, then what is the use of showing copies of the constitution to people by holding them in hand.
The question also arises that how will a teacher teach all the subjects, where will hatred come from in children, who is responsible for this? Dhiman said that the absence of teachers in schools is a violation of the fundamental rights of the constitution. Now if no one neglects education after coming abroad, then the government itself is doing it. This government lie has ousted the AAP government from power in Delhi.
Education in Punjab has never improved by writing Smart School or School of Eminence in front of the school or by sending teachers to Singapore and Finland. We are very proud of our education system. But lies and gossip in the field of education have created incompetence instead of creating skills in children. Every subject in schools has its own importance. If this was not the case, then neither people would have become scientists nor economists.
In this computer age, children get computer teachers for only 2 days. Also, the importance of drawing has been abolished in schools, this is the same subject. This creates interest in children towards engineering, science and engineering subjects. By eliminating this subject, the Punjab government is taking the future of children towards another darkness. Dhiman appealed to the people working in the field of education and intellectuals to come forward to save education.
