Mandi Gobindgarh, May 14 - Mother's Day was celebrated with grandeur by University School of Law, Faculty of Social Sciences and Language, Faculty of Education and Youth Welfare Department of Desh Bhagat University. National awardee Rekha Mann attended the event under the leadership of Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur.
TPHL Founder Chairperson Rekha Mann expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all the mothers for their unwavering love and tireless efforts to raise their children. Emphasizing the importance of celebrating Mother's Day, he said that mother has a great role in giving right guidance to the society. On this occasion, Sonali, Roshni, Pradeep Kaur, Komal Sharma, Vaishali Verma and Robin Kumar entertained the audience with dance performances, speeches and poems centered around the theme of Mother's Day. During the event, Dr. Devinder Kumar Sharma welcomed everyone and shared his views on the importance of Mother's Day. The winners of the DBU Youth Fair were felicitated with trophies in recognition of their outstanding contribution. The guests also planted saplings on this memorable occasion. Dr Surjit Kaur Patheja thanked everyone. Dr. Renu Sharma conducted the proceedings of the forum in a good manner.
