
Punjab to hold two-day horse riding festival in SAS Nagar on March 1 and 2
SAS Nagar, 07 February 2025: The Tourism and Cultural Affairs Department of Punjab will organise the state's first horse riding festival on March 1 and 2, 2025 at Forest Hills, village Karora in SAS Nagar district.

Revealing the details, Deputy Commissioner Mrs Ashika Jain, while holding a preparatory meeting for the smooth and successful conduct of the upcoming festival, assigned various responsibilities to the departments for the arrangements. She said that horse riding competitions will also be a part of the event.
Horses from reputed stud farms and clubs from across the state and country will also participate in the festival. During the meeting, eight committees were formed under the supervision of senior officers and they were allotted tasks for the event.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Anmol Singh Dhaliwal, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development) Sonam Chaudhary, Chief Minister's Field Officer Deepankar Garg and officers from various departments of the district were present in the meeting.
