Garhshankar- Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College, Garhshankar College's Chemistry Department in collaboration with IIC organised a one-day PowerPoint Presentation on the topic 'Role of Chemistry in Renewable Energy'. Students of BSc, BSc BEd and MSc Chemistry participated in the competition.
In the competition, Bhawiya and Harmanpreet Kaur BSc BEd 2nd Year secured first position, Lovepreet and Charandeep MSc Chemistry 2nd Year secured second position, Siya and Payal BSc BEd 1st Year secured third position. Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira, after distributing prizes to the students who secured first position in the competition, said that such competitions motivate students to move ahead in future.
He encouraged all the students to participate in competitions to move ahead in future. Dr. Mukesh Sharma, Prof. Neeraj Virdi, Prof. Baldeep Kaur, Prof. Sandeep Kaur etc. were present on the occasion.
