MLA Jimpa inaugurated the work of laying sewerage pipeline at a cost of Rs 13.75 lakh in Birbal Nagar

Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahmashankar Jimpa today inaugurated the work of laying 245 meter long sewerage pipeline to be constructed by the Municipal Corporation at a cost of Rs 13.75 lakh in Birbal Nagar. MLA Jimpa said that this project will provide a permanent solution to the years old sewerage problem of the people of the area. This will provide relief to the people of the area from problems like waterlogging and dirty water.

Appreciating the efforts of the Municipal Corporation, he said that priority is being given to the development of basic facilities in the city and such works will further strengthen the cleanliness system of the area.
The MLA said that the Municipal Corporation is committed to providing better facilities to the city residents and in this sequence this sewerage has been started. The work of laying the pipeline will be completed soon so that people can take advantage of it as soon as possible. The MLA said that the state government is giving special emphasis on the all-round development of cities. In the coming time, many schemes will be implemented to improve basic facilities like road construction, sewerage and drainage in other areas of Hoshiarpur.
Finally, he appealed to the people to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation in making the city clean and beautiful. He directed the Municipal Corporation officials to complete the work with quality so that the people of the area can get benefits soon.
