Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 24, 2025: Exercising powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of the firm M/s The OC Education, Consultancy.
Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke informed that M/s The OC Education Consultancy Firm SCF No. 123, 2nd Floor, Phase-7, Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owner Shiv Kumar son Manoj Kumar, resident of House No. 1058, Ground Floor, Sector-79, Mohali was issued license No. 351/IC, dated 14.10.2019 for consultancy work. The validity of this license has expired on 13-10-2024.
Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that due to non-availability of registered receipt of office and residential address, there being no office at the mentioned address as per the report of Tehsildar Mohali, non-submission of monthly report by the licensee as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, non-renewal of license and non-response/explanation to the notice, FIR has been registered against the firm and due to non-compliance of the provisions of the license, the firm and the licensee have violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(E) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012.
Therefore, in view of the above facts, exercising the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1)(E) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the license number 351/IC issued to M/s The OC Education, Consultancy Firm dated 14.10.2019 has been cancelled/rescinded with immediate effect.
Besides this, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensee/director/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee shall be responsible for the same in every respect and shall also be responsible for its compensation.
