Una, January 10- The posts reserved in the disabled category of Junior Basic Teachers (JBT) by the Education Department will be filled on contract basis from the candidates who have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test from the Subordinate Services Selection Board Hamirpur or Board of School Education Dharamshala in accordance with the prevailing recruitment and promotion rules.
 This information was given by Deputy Director Elementary Education Una Somlal Dhiman. He informed that the counseling of the visually impaired category of the Divyang category will be held on January 15, 2025 at 10 am at the Director, SC, OBC, Minority and Specially Abled Empowerment Shimla. He said that eligible candidates belonging to the visually impaired category can participate in the counseling with their complete biodata form, attested copies of educational and professional qualification certificates and other desired certificates.
The Deputy Director informed that those candidates who have not received call letters but are eligible for the above posts can also participate in the counselling with their complete bio-data form along with their permanent address and attested copies of educational qualification certificates and other desired certificates. 
He informed that the details of the candidates have been given on the office website www.himachal.nic.eleedu . He informed that if any candidate does not appear in the counselling on the scheduled time and date, then his/her claim for appointment later will not be valid.
