Nawanshahr- The convention of Pensioners Association PSPCL Circle Nawanshahr was organised at CPI office Banga Road Nawanshahr under the leadership of Circle President Narinder Kumar Mehta on the invitation of State Committee. In which pensioners from divisions under the circle participated. Finance Secretary of State Committee DK Mehta and Deputy General Secretary of State Committee Shiv Kumar Tiwari participated prominently in the convention. In his address, he said that Punjab Government does not want to solve the demands of pensioners.
A series of conventions are being organised in all circles against this policy of the government and continuous struggles will be carried out in future as well. After this, circle leader Jagdish Balachaur, Ashwini Gadhshankar, Balwinder Garayan and divisional leader Kashmiri Gadhshankar, Madan Ramraipur, Kamaldev Gadhshankar, Moolraj Gadhshankar, Vijay Kumar Nawanshahr, Kulwinder Guryan, Mahinderpal Akiliyana, Gurdev Gajjarpur, Juginder Begumpur etc. presented their views and said that along with the legitimate and reasonable demands of the pensioners, giving a factor of 2.59 to those who retired before 1-1-16, increasing medical allowance, restoring medical cashless scheme, immediately releasing the pending DA installments and pending DA arrears, immediately stopping the forced deduction of Rs 200 per month in the name of development, giving concessions to pensioners in units etc., they will actively participate in the struggles being given by the state committee. Pensioners participated in large numbers in the convention.
