SAS Nagar, December 27 - Police has arrested another youth named Sukhman Singh in the case of a deadly attack on a person from village Tasoli by some youths. Earlier, the police had arrested Ranbir Singh, who is on 2-day police remand.
In this regard, DSP City 2 Harsimran Singh Bal said that raids are being conducted to arrest other accused named in this case. According to the information, Sharanjit Singh, a resident of Tasoli village, was seriously injured in this attack. In the complaint given to the police, the injured Sharanjit Singh said that he works in brick, gravel and building material and has a dumping business in Sector 97.
On December 23, at around 11:30 am, 10-12 people accompanied by Ranbir Singh of village Nadiali, Sharanjit Singh Sekhon, Manjit Singh of Jagatpura and Aman Malik of village Kumbhara attacked him with the intention of killing him. He was hit several times on the head with daggers and sticks, due to which he was seriously injured.
In this case, Sohana police station has registered a case against Ranbir Singh, Sharanjit Singh Sekhon, Manjit Singh, Aman Malik and 10-12 unidentified people under sections 115, 109, 304, 191 and 190 of the BNS Act.
