
Competitions dedicated to Shaheedi Pandharhwada were organized at Khalsa College
Garhshankar- Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, on the orders of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and under the guidance of Secretary Education Sukhminder Singh, the Punjabi Department of the college organized slogan writing and poetry recitation competitions dedicated to Shaheedi Pandharhwada under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira.
Garhshankar- Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, on the orders of Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami, President of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee and under the guidance of Secretary Education Sukhminder Singh, the Punjabi Department of the college organized slogan writing and poetry recitation competitions dedicated to Shaheedi Pandharhwada under the leadership of Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira.
On this occasion, while conducting the stage, religious teacher Amritpal Singh shed light on the history of Shaheedi Pandharhwada in detail. In the slogan writing and competition, student Kirandeep Kaur secured the first place, Simran secured the second place and Deeksha Rani and Pooja Rani jointly secured the third place.
In the poetry recitation competition, Prince Singh secured the first place, Jaspinder Kaur secured the second place and Kirandeep Kaur and Priyanka Rani secured the third place. Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira honored the winning students of the competition and while addressing them said that the Sahibzade of the tenth Guru Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Gujri Ji are heroes of Sikh history who gave their martyrdom to stop the atrocities against humanity. He said that we need to take inspiration from these martyrdoms. On this occasion, the role of judgment was played by Dr. Kamaljit Kaur and Dr. Kanwaljit Kaur of the Punjabi Department.
