Una, March 16- On the occasion of Holi Milan program, the Language and Culture Department of Himachal Pradesh, District Una organized a Kavi Goshthi in the conference room of Lata Mangeshkar Kala Kendra Samurkalan, in which about 31 litterateurs of the district participated. In the program, District Language Officer Nikku Ram told about various departmental activities and presented the upcoming annual plan.
During this, first of all, tribute was paid by observing 2 minutes of silence on the sudden demise of senior litterateur of District Una, Shri Prakash Chandra Mehram. Thereafter, the program was started by lighting the lamp while worshiping Mother Saraswati. The program was presided over by senior litterateur of the district, Kundan Lal. Dr. Raj Kumar and Zahid Abrol, members of Himachal Language Art Culture Academy were mainly present.
The stage was conducted by Om Prakash Sharma. Dr. Yogesh Chandra Sood, Dr. Satyendra Kumar, Rachna Rani, Ashok Kalia, Kuldeep Sharma, Rampal Sharma Ghayal, Devkala Sharma, Deepak Sharma, Dr. Balkrishna Soni, Sudha Parashar, Rajendra Kumar Kaushal, Anil Kumar Jaswal, Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Rajkumar Thakur, Ramkishan Bhatti, Manohar Bhatti, Alka Chawla, Sapna Jaswal, Pushpa Devi, Ram Prakash, Reshav Verma, Kishori Lal Bains, Om Devi Saini, Charanjit Singh Channi, Bhup Ram Shastri, Santosh Sharma etc. presented their works.
