Patiala, December 18- As part of the campaign being run against drug smugglers, Patiala Police took major action and sealed the property of a drug smuggler worth Rs 25.60 lakh. As part of the action to confiscate the property of drug smugglers, the property of a drug smuggler resident of Police Station Shermazra was sealed today under the supervision of DSP Samana.
DSP GS Sikand said that the residential hideout of drug smuggler Manpreet Singh alias Mani resident of Shermazra has been confiscated, which is worth about Rs 25 lakh 62 thousand. He said that this action has been taken on the instructions of SSP Patiala Dr. Nanak Singh. 
A case was registered against the accused in 2022 for recovery of 400 grams of heroin in Mohali and in 2021 in Police Station City Sunam for drug smuggling.
