Patiala, December 18- Krishi Vigyan Kendra Patiala provided five-day vocational training, in this course 36 farmers from villages Masingan, Roorkee, Sadnauli and Kalyan of Patiala district participated. Professor Home Science Dr. Gurupdesh Kaur gave information about the process of making clothes through various designs of hand embroidery, fabric painting and hand weaving. 
Pooja Sharda explained the methods of making decorative items like sarana covers and table runners. Dr. Rachna Singla, Professor (Horticulture) shared information about horticulture and cultivation of fruit plants. Professor Dr. Rajni Goyal gave information about preparing products from seasonal fruits and vegetables. During the training, Harjit Kaur of the Self Help Group shared her experiences of increasing income with fashion products. 
On the last day, Dr. Gurpadesh Kaur inspired the trainees to become self-reliant by starting a business in clothing manufacturing and beauty equipment manufacturing.
