Hoshiarpur- Aam Aadmi Party candidates Rajeshwar Dayal Babbi from Ward No. 6, Narinder Kaur from Ward No. 7 and Sharanjit Kaur Hundal from Ward No. 27 filed their nomination papers today for the by-elections to be held in three wards of the Municipal Corporation under the leadership of MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Mayor Surinder Kumar Shinda and Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini and Deputy Mayor Ranjita Chaudhary and Aam Aadmi Party workers.
After filing the nomination papers before the Returning Officer, all the three candidates thanked the entire leadership of Aam Aadmi Party for showing faith in them and said that in view of the development done by the present government in the state, people are giving victory to the Aam Aadmi Party candidates. They appealed to the people to ensure their victory by voting for Aam Aadmi Party in all the three wards so that the development work gets more momentum.
Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the AAP government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has done record development in various sectors in the state during the last three and a half years. He said that Punjab has taken new steps in the field of education, health and employment and has ensured transparent and robust administration for the people. He expressed confidence that people will give full support to Aam Aadmi Party in the municipal elections also and will give credit for the victory to AAP candidates. Brahm Shankar Jimpa, Mayor Surinder Kumar Shinda and other leaders thanked the workers who came in large numbers. 
On this occasion District Planning Committee Chairperson Karamjit Kaur, Kulwinder Singh Hundal, Kaka Sahota, Chairman Vikram Sharma, Councilor Mukh Ram, Councilor Pradeep Bittu, Councilor Balwinder Bindi, Lucky Chandan, Mohit Saini, Mukesh Mall, Vijay Agarwal, Jaswant Rai, Balwinder Kaur, Manjit Kaur, Amrik Chauhan, Jatinder Kaur, Ganga Prasad, Inderjit Kaur, Harpal Singh, Avtar Singh Kapoor, Kamaljit Kataria, Tirath Ram, Sudarshan Dhir, Rakesh Sahni, Sardari Lal, Bindu Sharma, Vipan Kumar Jain, Ajay Verma, Ajay Saini, Rakesh Kumar, Paramjit Singh Pamma, Karamveer Bali, Vicky, Billu etc were also present.
