Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, accepting the demand of Punjab by the Power Minister of Punjab, Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO, announced to set up three additional power generation units of 800-800 MW in Punjab.
In this regard, a meeting was held between the ministers and officials of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal, Chandigarh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir under the chairmanship of Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
The Union Power Minister accepted the demands made by the Power Minister of Punjab, Mr. Harbhajan Singh ETO, and gave a gift to the people of Punjab. The backward categories of Scheduled Castes were given to Punjab by the Employees Welfare Federation.
Power Minister Punjab Harbhajan Singh ETO thanked them for this gift and hoped that in the coming time they will work for Punjab and PSPCL / PSTCL. Will keep trying to take it to greater heights.
