Mandi Gobindgarh, December 2: Desh Bhagat University’s talented student Simarpreet Kaur has recently won a bronze medal at the prestigious Commonwealth Karate Championship held in South Africa. The championship, which attracts participants from across the Commonwealth, saw fierce competition in various sports.
Simarpreet Kaur, who is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga at Desh Bhagat University, showcased exceptional skill, focus and dedication, securing the third position out of a strong field of contenders. The participants showcased their mastery of the traditional practice of Karate with a blend of physical flexibility, strength and mental discipline. Desh Bhagat University Chancellor Zora Singh and Pro-Chancellor Dr. Tajinder Kaur congratulated Simarpreet Kaur on this achievement and said that they are committed to promoting excellence in academics, sports and personal development.
