Punjab government has made great strides in the fields of health, education and employment: Dr. Ravjot Singh

Hoshiarpur: Punjab Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh while handing over appointment letters to 24 MBBS doctors appointed by the state government as house surgeons said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government has established new horizons in the field of health, education and employment in the state.

Hoshiarpur: Punjab Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh while handing over appointment letters to 24 MBBS doctors appointed by the state government as house surgeons said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government has established new horizons in the field of health, education and employment in the state.
After handing over the appointment letters to the doctors including MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa at the local civil hospital; Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh said that with their appointment, health services will be provided in a better way in civil hospitals and government hospitals of sub-divisions. He said that out of these 24 doctors, 8 doctors will be posted in Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur, 4 in Sub-Divisional Hospital Garhshankar, 5 in Dasuha and 2 in Mukerian. So that people can get necessary treatment as well as health facilities.
He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab has set an example for other states by making great progress in the field of health services. He said that revolutionary steps have also been taken in the field of education and about 50 thousand youth have been recruited in government jobs in the last two and a half years.
He congratulated these doctors on behalf of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and himself and invited them to perform their duty with full devotion, hard work, dedication and professional commitment so that health services can be provided to the common people in a better way.
MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab Government has set a great example in the health sector by establishing about 900 Aam Aadmi Clinics and providing basic health services to crores of people near their homes. He said that standard health facilities are being provided to the people in Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur and through the new laboratory to be built in the hospital, people will get free facility of about 80 different tests.
The newly appointed house surgeons thanked the Punjab Government and said that they will ensure to provide health services with full dedication. Civil Surgeon Dr. Pawan Shagotra, Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr. Kamlesh, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harbans Kaur, DIO Seema Garg, DFPO Dr. Anita, DHO Dr. Jatinder Bhatia, SMO Dr. Swati and Dr. Kuldeep Singh were also present on the occasion.
