Ludhiana/ Mullapur: The Panchayat of village Gahaur has honored Mrs. Mandeep Kaur Grewal, who has been serving as a Hindi teacher at Government High School Gahaur, Ludhiana for the past ten years and has now been posted as a Hindi lecturer at Government Senior Secondary School Dakha after promotion. She was honored with a commemorative plaque and cash prize for her services to the town.

On this occasion, Bibi Jaspreet Kaur, wife of Sardar Harpal Singh, former Sarpanch, honored Madam Mandeep Kaur Grewal. On this occasion, Jagdev Singh Jagga, while addressing everyone, said that Madam Grewal has worked continuously for the development of the village high school for the entire 10 years by serving sincerely and unblemishedly in the village. Madam Grewal has always taken the initiative for the development of the school with the support of the village Panchayat and the villagers.
Due to which the image of the village school has also changed today. On this occasion, apart from others, Harpal Singh, former Sarpanch, Jaspreet Singh, Panch Vicky, Jathedar Gurdev Singh, Numberdar Mohan Singh, Randhir Singh Jimmy and other villagers were present on this occasion.
