Patiala, November 23 - Patiala MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli today inaugurated development works worth crores at three places in Patiala city. On this occasion, a large number of prominent leaders of the area including Joint Commissioner Deepjot Kaur, Ex-CEO Mohan Lal and SDO Amitoj Singh were present.
First of all, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli inaugurated the streets at a cost of Rs 46.17 lakhs in Tange Wali Street near the book market, known as the hub of the city. These streets will be built with CC flooring. While pipes will also be laid here for more water drainage. This area comes under ward number 49.
After this, MLA Kohli inaugurated the main road of Ajit Nagar, on which about Rs 53 lakhs will be spent. This road was broken for a long time, which will be built with CC flooring. While after this, the MLA inaugurated the roads of Majithia Enclave Extension and Gobind Nagar of Model Town at a cost of Rs 61.22 lakh.
On this occasion, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli said that the city residents will not be allowed to face any kind of problem in terms of development. He said that work has been started to build those streets and roads of the city which have been incomplete for many years.
On this occasion, MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli told all the officers and contractors that there will be no compromise in the quality and standard of work. Therefore, every work should be thoroughly inspected and completed. Answering the questions of the journalists, MLA Kohli said that due to the work being done by the Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab, the party candidates have won the by-elections.
