
Students of Khalsa Collegiate School went on an educational tour
Garhshankar - With the aim of connecting the students with the history of Guru and making them aware of the proud history of the warriors who contributed to the freedom movement; the students of BAM Khalsa Collegiate Senior Secondary School Garhshankar were taken on a one-day educational tour.

The tour was attended by Dr. Manbir Kaur, School Incharge Prof. Kiranjot Kaur, Prof. Saurav Dadri and Prof. Ankush along with the students of class XI and XII. During the tour, the students visited the Jang-e-Azadi Memorial located at Kartarpur and learned about the history of the freedom fighters who contributed to the independence of the country. During this time, the students visited Gurdwara Gangsar Sahib and Gurdwara Tham Ji Sahib located at Kartarpur Sahib and learned about Sikh history.
During the tour, the students also visited places related to Punjabi culture and heritage. College Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira said that educational tours increase the religious, patriotic and cultural awareness of the students in addition to literary knowledge.
