ADC administered oath to officers on World Standards Day

Una, October 14 - On the occasion of World Standards Day, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mahendra Pal Gurjar administered oath to the officers and employees of the district administration at Mini Secretariat Una on Monday to comply with the standards of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). On this occasion, the ADC underlined the importance of standardization and said that the purpose of this day is to increase awareness among consumers, regulators and industry about the role of standardization in the global economy.

Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that standards not only help in ensuring quality and safety of products and services but also make global trade simple and safe. He urged the officers and employees to use quality and standardized products in their daily lives and also make others aware of this, so that more and more people can understand the importance of standards and take advantage of it.
