S.A.S. Nagar, 13th November 2024: With the support of Punjab Government, Sports Department Punjab and District Administration Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, the State Level Sports Competitions (Game Shooting) under Khedan Watan Punjab 2024 started with great pomp and show today at Shooting Range, Phase 6, Mohali (Near Government College).
These sports competitions were inaugurated by MLA Anmol Gagan Mann. Encouraging the players towards sports, MLA Anmol Gagan Mann said that the players should participate in sports with utmost enthusiasm. He said that sports are an essential part of human life. Along with studies, sports are also very important in student life.
MLA Anmol Gagan Mann said that the Rs 1000 scheme to be given to women in Punjab will be completed soon. We were the first to fill the gap between the health sector, free electricity and education sector in Punjab and all the promises made by the Aam Aadmi Party government have been almost fulfilled and we will also fulfill the promises made for women soon.
MLA Anmol Gagan Mann raised the morale of the shooting game players by firing a fire. All the shooting coaches of the sports department, game incharges and many other dignitaries were present in this program.
District Sports Officer Rupesh Kumar Begra informed that teams from Punjab are participating in the state level games. The Sports Department Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar honored the chief guest and special guests with medals.
