Dr. Gagandeep Singh of German University gave a special speech in Punjabi Varsity

Patiala, November 5 - Dr. Gagandeep Singh, who arrived from Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany, gave a special speech at the Department of Physics of Punjabi University. In his speech, he spoke with reference to the beginning of the world and nuclear reaction with the Big Bang, which is believed to have happened 13.8 billion years ago.

Patiala, November 5 - Dr. Gagandeep Singh, who arrived from Johannes Gutenberg University in Germany, gave a special speech at the Department of Physics of Punjabi University. In his speech, he spoke with reference to the beginning of the world and nuclear reaction with the Big Bang, which is believed to have happened 13.8 billion years ago.
 He made important points about the formation of stars and galaxies. He said that the entire universe is made up of only four percent matter. Head of the department, Prof. Anup Thakur, during his welcome speech on this occasion, explained about the academic activities conducted by the department.
Dr. Shubhchintak, working as Ramanujan Fellow in the department, introduced the speaker and Dr. Karamjit Singh Dhaliwal gave the vote of thanks. Researchers, students and faculty members of the department were present on this occasion.
