In compliance with the said order of the Deputy Commissioner, Chief Agriculture Officer Dr. Gurmel Singh and his team inspected the fertilizer sellers located in Kharar. He directed all the fertilizer sellers to match the fertilizer stock register, bill book and point of sale machine with the DAP stock lying in the warehouse and the price and stock of the fertilizer should be written on the display board of the shop, along with this the mobile number of the farmer should also be recorded on the bill book.
No fertilizer seller will tag any unnecessary material with DAP, urea fertilizer. If any seller is found doing so, action will be taken against him as per the provisions of Essential Commodities Act 1955 and Fertilizer (Control) Order 1985.
