Garhshankar - Doaba Sahitya Sabha Ladhana Jhika organized a poet's court on this occasion, the late Juginder Singh Kanwal Memorial Award was given to Pawan Bhammia. In which famous poets of Punjab participated who presented their works on evils like feticide and corruption. The books of Tara Singh Chera and Gurdeep Singh Mukaddam were presented to the public.
Professor Sandhu Varyanvi appealed to end social evils. Balveer Singh Khan Puri, Jagdish Rana, Santokh Singh Virji, Sarwan Sidhu, Gurdeep Saini, Ranjit Posey, Sohan Singh Suni, Joga Singh Bhammia, Pawan Bhammia, Tarsem Bhammia presented their works. Later, Gurdeep Singh Mukaddam thanked the guests.
