He instructed the jail administration to provide proper facilities to all women prisoners as per the rules and not to let any woman prisoner face any hardship. Later, Raj Lali Gill, in an informal conversation with the media, said that these 32 girls were previously imprisoned in Ropar Jail, but during their visit there, their difficulties came to his attention and after which they were transferred to Nabha Jail. was He said that he has come to know that these girls were ignorant and seemed to be trapped only by the lure of job and salary, but the commission will play its role to help these girls.
The Chairperson of the Women's Commission said that all the girls are from the states of Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Uttarakhand, Assam, Mumbai, Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab etc., who used to work in call centers and immigration centers but in the past During the raid conducted by the police, their companies were found to be fraudulent and they were also caught by the police. He said that their fault was that they neither took any appointment letter nor any job card from the company.
The Chairperson said that around 150 boys and girls were arrested by the police, among them 13 out of 32 girls have been granted bail and 6 have been released. Raj Lali Gill advised that the boys or girls who want to work in call centers or immigration centers should check the company before their appointment so that no fraud can happen to them.
