Mahilpur, October 24 - Dr. Deepak, Head of the Hindi Department of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur, completed the pre-commission course of about three months at the Officers Academy Company (Maharashtra) and attained the rank of Lt. Associate NCC Officer. In this regard, Dr. Deepak was honored today in the college under the leadership of Principal Parvinder Singh.
On this occasion, Principal Parvinder Singh said that the role of NCC activities in educational institutions is important And the NCC unit of the college is doing excellent work in association with 8 Punjab Battalion Phagwara. On this occasion, Prof. Deepak said that about 500 teachers selected from different states across the country were also participating in this course which was running for about 3 months at the Officers Training Academy, Kampti (Maharashtra). And here's the rank of lieutenant during the pipping ceremony after the passing out parade during training.
