In charge of cultural programs Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal said that under the leadership of Additional Deputy Commissioner, Development cum District Sars Mela Officer, Sonam Chaudhary, great efforts are being made to preserve the rich heritage. With the support of Uttar Bharat Cultural Centre, Patiala, the fair will feature Rajasthan's Kalbeliya, a popular folk dance of Bharatpur, Jaisalmer and Jaipur regions, Haryana's Phag and Uttar Pradesh's Mayur dance, Assam's Pihu and Punjab's Bhangra, Ludi and Sammi.
