This time in the 2024 Panchayat elections held in Punjab, Gurpreet Singh alias Ballu has succeeded in getting the Sarpanch of the village by registering a spectacular victory for the first time and in the first contest in village Posi. Behind this achievement of Gurpreet Singh is his loyalty and honesty towards the society. He did not tempt the voters with any kind of intoxicants during these Panchayat elections.

He said that if I myself get the Sarpanch of the village by distributing intoxicants etc. to the voters, then I will not be able to get the next generation out of the quagmire of addiction in any way. Therefore, I believe in taking my village forward with cleanliness. After his victory, the victorious Sarpanch bowed his head at Sri Guru Ravidas Gurudwara Sahib. The President of the Gurughar honored the new Panchayat members by giving them Siropao. The new Sarpanch assured the devotees present in the Gurughar that he would try to complete the pending works of the village soon.
