Una, October 16 - A special campaign has been started for the settlement of revenue related matters in Una district. In this, 100% settlement of all pending revenue correction cases will be ensured by October 31. Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Mahendra Pal Gurjar held a meeting with the Tehsildars and Kanungos of the district on Wednesday for the effective implementation of the campaign. He directed that all the officers should work seriously to make this campaign successful so that all pending cases can be settled within the stipulated time limit.
Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that this campaign has been started in compliance with the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. During the review meeting of the Revenue Department held in Shimla on Tuesday, the Chief Minister had ordered to run a special campaign for the speedy disposal of all pending cases. As per the instructions of the Chief Minister, this campaign has been started in Una district.
Let us tell you, Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar has been appointed as the nodal officer to monitor the review and settlement of pending revenue matters in the district.
Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that at present there are a total of 103 cases pending in Una district, in which correction of revenue entries is required. All these cases will be settled within the stipulated time frame.
Mr Gurjar called upon all the Tehsildars and Kanungos of the district to adopt a target-oriented approach and said that this campaign is an important step towards providing quick and effective services to the citizens of Una district. Through this special campaign, pending revenue cases in Una district will be resolved quickly, which will provide quick relief to the public and promote transparency and efficiency in the revenue system.
