Mohali: Serious allegations have been made against Manpreet Singh Sidhu, the owner of Metro Park Company in Sector-103. Dhakoli resident Ram Bhaj Garg and his family leveled serious allegations against the builder in a press conference. He said that Sidhu took about two and a half crore rupees from him and his brother-in-law and son-in-law in the name of buying three plots, but despite the passage of four years, he has not given physical possession. These plots were purchased between 2019 and 2020. One of them is in the name of Dhakoli resident Ram Bhaj Garg, while the other two are in the name of his samdhi Ravindra Goyal and his son-in-law Ravindra Goyal and daughter-in-law Jyoti Goyal.
He said that two and a half crore rupees were given to the builder to buy the plot, but the builder did not give physical possession of the plot. The builder took full money and gave them Agreement to Sale, Full and Final Payment Note, NOC, Possession Letter and Payment Receipt. He made a payment of 25 lakhs to the builder through the bank, the remaining amount was given in cash, of which the builder finally gave a receipt of 53 lakhs despite repeated requests. The sizes of these plots are 416 yards, 227 yards and 249 yards. They say that they first gave 25 lakh rupees through the bank to the builder to buy the plot, while the remaining amount was given in cash.
The builder canceled two plots and sold them to another customer. They have been visiting the builder's office for four years, but have not found any solution. Despite several complaints, the situation continued. The builder sold them the plots by giving them false assurances and now he is reneging on his responsibilities. Now they have applied for a re-inquiry of this case from the DGP office and the file is with SP Jyoti Yadav for 2 months.
Complaint given to SSP Garg three times, case closed thrice, DSP force removed statements of 4 people from file, copy available with us
The complaint was given three times to SSP Garg, but the case was closed all the three times. The victim said that after investigating the first complaint, ASP Darpan Ahluwalia asked Sohana police station to lodge an FIR, but the builder cooperated with SSP Sandeep Garg and got the case closed. On the second complaint, DSP Narcotics Manjit Singh investigated and the builder said to register within a week but it did not happen. When I went to the DSP again, they said that they have reached an agreement. By saying this, the complaint was closed. For the third time, when the complaint came to DSP Harsimrat Singh, he initially hesitated and later closed the case after hanging it for 6 months. They had filed the statements of 4 people including the plot sellers but in RTI it was found that the statements have been removed from the file while the copy is with them.

The builder cheated by telling the IT zone as orange and green zone
Alas, the victim, Ram Bhaj Garg, says that in the papers given to him by the builder, it is clearly written that the area is in the Green and Orange Zones. 250 types of work are permitted in this zone. Now if this area falls in the IT zone, then they have violated by manipulating the documents given to them by the builder. Apart from these, the builder is talking about refunding the 25 lakhs that have come to the bank for refund, while they have given about two and a half crores to the builder and as per the current situation, the value of their land is 4 crores. But the builder wants to grab their money by refunding them only 25 lakhs. Due to this forgery of the builder, they have become debtors and now they have no choice but to die.

court
All these three plots were purchased from a builder. He had no deal with the company. Anyway these plots are for IT sector and they don't have two years IT sector experience. Hence the plots are cancelled. They have a complete record of the money they have received and now they will be refunded with interest as per the rules. Because even on his request, he could not get the two-year IT sector certificate. If they had obtained the certificate, they would have registered them. —Manpreet Singh, Builder, Metro Park Company
