Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini holds meeting on strengthening road system

Chandigarh, July 21 - Taking an important step towards further strengthening the road system in the state, Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini has directed to strengthen inter-state roads on priority basis. The Chief Minister clarified that all roads entering Haryana should be in good condition so that the people do not face any inconvenience.

The Chief Minister was chairing a review meeting related to the renovation and repair of roads in the state here today.
Mr. Naib Singh Saini directed the officers of the concerned departments to complete the repair and development works of roads in a timely manner and no negligence towards quality will be tolerated.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of the mobile app being developed with the aim of making the roads of the state pothole-free. He directed that every department should ensure that all its roads are selected 100% and uploaded on the app as soon as possible.
He directed that the mobile app should be simple so that the general public can use it easily. In this application, the general public will be able to register complaints about damaged roads or potholes in the roads in the state, with this, the roads will be improved by ensuring immediate resolution.
Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. Arun Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary to the Public Works Department Mr. Anurag Agarwal, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. Saket Kumar, Managing Director of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Mr. Yash Garg and Chief Administrator of Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board Mr. Mukesh Kumar Ahuja along with other senior officials were present in the meeting.
