Guwahati, August 28 (Paigam-e-Jagat)- Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma today alleged that Jharkhand minister Champai Soren was being spied upon by his own government for the last five months and a case has been registered in this regard that he is being 'monitored' by the police. Mr Sarma said that two sub-inspectors (SIs) of the special branch of Jharkhand Police were caught by Soren's supporters in a hotel in Delhi when they were keeping an eye on the former Chief Minister. "This is a rare case of espionage in Indian politics, we will take it up at the highest level," Sarma said at a press conference here. He said that both the SIs have been handed over to the Delhi Police. The Assam Chief Minister said that now there is also a suspicion that Soren's phones may be tapped and there may also be a conspiracy to trap him in a 'honey trap' as a woman was also meeting two SIs. The former Chief Minister of Jharkhand is joining the BJP on August 30.
