Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 7 April 2025: Player (Kshetra Bharti) son of Shri Gore Lal of Coaching Center (Handball) S.S.S. School 3B1 Mohali has been selected as Goalkeeper in Indian Army under sports quota. This player represented Punjab in the Senior National Handball Championship held at Ranchi (Jharkhand) in the year 2024-25 and won Bronze Medal.
Along with this, Punjab team won Gold Medal in Junior National Handball Championship held at Jehanabad (Bihar) and this player was selected as the Best Goalkeeper in this tournament.
Today the player was warmly welcomed and felicitated by Rupesh Kumar Begra District Sports Officer, Rakesh Kumar Sharma Handball Coach and all coaching and office staff.
