Hoshiarpur- Employees held a meeting under the leadership of Safai Karamchari Union President Karanjot Adia in the Municipal Corporation office, Hoshiarpur. In which Municipal Corporation Employees Action Committee Patron Kulwant Singh Saini specially arrived. Where information about the demands was given by various speakers. On this occasion, when Pradhan Karanjot Adia demanded to make the employees working on DC rate permanent, this meeting turned into a protest.
On this occasion, Pradhan Karanjot Adia and various speakers said that just as the strike has been done in the whole of Punjab earlier, in the same way strike will be done in Hoshiarpur as well. On this occasion, Kulwant Singh Saini said that Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh should approve the cabinet meeting as soon as possible. He said that if the government ignores these demands, then the responsibility of the strike to be held in Punjab will be of the Punjab government.
He said that various demands of outsourced employees and DC rate employees of Punjab have already been made known. He said that ever since this government has been formed, the employees are not getting their rights and the government has not tried to do anything.
During this time, the union submitted a memorandum to Corporation Commissioner Dr. Amandeep and Joint Commissioner Sandeep Tiwari.
