MoHFW has recently released Immunization dashboard, AEFI SURVEILLANCE dashboard and IMMUNIZATION UPDATE INDIA health magazine. UT Chandigarh has achieved:- 1. 97% in Full Immunization of Children against GOI target of 90% 2. Ranked 1st In country in AEFI ( Adverse Event Following Immunization) Surveillance and again declared “EXCELLENT PERFORMING STATE” 3. First Rank in the country in AFP( Acute Flaccid Paralysis) surveillance for Polio eradication 4. Our innovative activities of Model Immunization Centres, Evening Immunization Camps, preparing school children as influencers, engaging religious leaders and transgenders of UT Chandigarh for improving immunization services have been appreciated and published by MoHFW as Success Story Of Chandigarh in health magazine.
