Nawanshahr - A review meeting regarding the complaints received during the NRI meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Rajeev Verma, PCS Additional Deputy Commissioner(s) Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. The NRI meeting was held at Zilla Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar on February 09, 2024 A total of 44 complaints were received in this meeting Out of which 28 petitions have been settled and 16 complaints are pending in various departments like Rural Development, Powercom, Revenue Department, Police Department and some complaints are being heard in Civil Court.
          Additional Deputy Commissioner(s) Rajeev Verma, PCS called an emergency meeting today to expedite this work. In which various departments were asked to dispose of the petition. Regarding the complaint of Shri Hari Singh Thandi, son of Gurbachan Singh, NRI, Manjit Kaur, Kanungo office was instructed to mark the area of village Garpadhane and send a report immediately. So that no one can illegally encroach on the residential space of NRI. In this meeting Dr. Gurleen Sidhu PCS Assistant Commissioner (J), Mandeep Singh Mann District Revenue Officer Sabhas Nagar, Praveen Chhibbar Tehsildar Nawanshahr, Mr. Satihar Singh from NRI Police Station, ASI, Mr. Manjit Roy, Sadar Kanugo, Mrs. Manjit Kaur, Office Kanugo and Mr. Amanish Kumar Clerk, Dealing Head, Complaints Branch, DC Office were present.
