BJP District President Ashok Saini, District Council President Sonu Sihag Data, BJP leader Rajpal Yadav and officers and employees of various departments planted 160 saplings together in the green belt and gave the message of environmental protection.

MLA Vinod Bhayana, while addressing the people present on the occasion of inauguration, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started a campaign called 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam'. Under this campaign, every person must plant a tree in the name of mother. He said that when these saplings grow into trees and give us shade and fruits, we will definitely feel proud of ourselves at that time.
He appreciated the efforts being made by SDM Rajesh Khoth to increase greenery in the subdivision area. He said that under the 'Mhari Hari Bhari Hansi' campaign started by the sub-divisional administration, green belts will be developed at many other places in the city.
The MLA said that a road will be constructed from Kundanapur village to the National Highway. The width of this road will increase from 12 feet to 18 feet. About one crore rupees will be spent on the construction of this road. The tender for the construction of this one and a half kilometer long road has been opened. The construction work of this road will start within the next one month.
BJP District President Ashok Saini said that trees have great importance in our lives. Every person should plant as many trees as possible and bless the coming generations with a healthy life.
SDM Rajesh Khoth, while welcoming MLA Vinod Bhayana, District President Ashok Saini and other guests, said that a target of planting 10000 trees has been set under the 'Mhari Hari Bhari Hansi' campaign. This green belt has also been developed under this campaign. The special thing is that earlier there was garbage lying here. A green belt has been developed here by lifting about 60 trolleys of garbage. 160 plants have been planted in it.
He said that the green belt has been fenced with barbed wire so that the plants planted here do not suffer any harm from animals. Social organizations and the general public have also been especially helpful in developing the green belt. As a result, this green belt has been developed without spending any money. So far 2500 plants have been planted under the campaign. The target will be achieved by 31 August.
This campaign was launched on 25 June by planting 200 plants in a program organized on the occasion of martyrdom day of Shaheed Rajbir in Dhani Sankri village. A beautiful painting has also been done on the wall adjoining the green belt to create awareness about environmental protection. Plants like Kadam, Jakareda, Banyan, Peepal, Neem, Sheesham, Rain Tree, Gulmore, Amaltas, Mango, Jamun, Amla, Beacon, White Siras, Black Siras, Tamarind Drumstick etc. have been planted in the Green Belt.
On this occasion, free plants were made available to the officers, employees and the general public and they were appealed to plant them in their homes, courtyards and fields.
