Garhshankar: Today, the 24th conference of CPIM was successfully concluded at Sathi Harbhajan Singh Ramdaspur Nagar, village Dhootkala. The first flag hoisting ceremony was performed by Comrade Gurmesh. Slogans of CPIM Zindabad, Inquilab Zindabad, Samajwad Zindabad were raised. First of all, a two-minute silence was observed to pay tribute to the departed comrades. 
In the presidium, Subhash Mattu, Mohinder Kumar Badowan, Ashanand played the role of the presidium. In addition, state committee member Sathi Gurmesh Singh, Darshan Singh Mattu, district secretariat member Ranjit Singh Chauhan were members of the steering committee. State Secretary Sukhwinder Singh Sekhon and state secretariat member Ramsingh Nurpuri specially arrived in this session. 
On this occasion, State Secretary Sukhwinder Singh Sekhon informed about the party constitution and said that democracy is established within our party from the primary unit to the central committee. Leaders are not imposed on us, but the party units elect and decide the party line. Speaking at the international level, he said that we stand firmly against Israel and in favor of Palestine. 
He also mentioned the Russia-Ukraine war and said that NATO countries are putting all their efforts to suppress Russia. He said that America has no other work except selling its weapons, but somehow or the other it keeps waging war. Speaking about the Modi government, he said that the communal fascist government led by RSS has launched a sharp attack on the constitutional institutions of the country. 
He openly and extensively shed light on the role of CPM in the India alliance. He said that CPM played an important role in the India alliance and the BJP, which had a government at the center, was changed into an NDA government. He said that 73% of the country's capital is held by 100 families in the country. He said that Modi has misused the CBI, ED, Election Commission, judiciary to win elections, but lost the Ayodhya seat. He said that CPM is the only party that does not take funds from corporate houses, but fights elections with the earnings of the working people. 
CPM District Secretary Gurnek Singh Bhajjal read out the previous report. Many colleagues participated in the debate on that report, and later the report was passed unanimously. At this time, the District Committee panel was presented by colleague Nurpuri, and which was passed unanimously. Today, a 15-member District Committee was elected in which District Secretary Gurnek Singh Bhajjal was elected as the District Secretary for the second time. 
Today's District Committee members include District Secretary Gurnek Singh Bhajjal, Shubhash Mattu, Mahinder Kumar Badhoan, Neelam Rani Bachhoan, Kamaljit Singh, Prem Lata Mahinder Singh Bhilowal, Balwinder Singh Ranjit Singh Chauhan, Harbans Singh Dhoot, Manjit Kaur Bhattian, Asanand, Jaspal Singh Raghbir Singh, Chaudhary Achhar Singh. Seven resolutions were presented by comrade Gurmesh Singh, which were passed unanimously. 
The first resolution strongly condemns the Manipur incidents. It strongly condemns the taking of land from Chandigarh and giving it to Haryana to make it the capital. The government should end unemployment and fill the vacant posts in every department. It should curb inflation. It strongly condemns the introduction of the One Election One Nation law in the country. 
It strongly condemns attacks on Dalit women. It calls for the rollback of the increased prices of petrol and diesel. It calls for the completion of the Kandi Canal, the filling of the gaps in it, and the water being given to the paper mill should be stopped.
