Hoshiarpur: Today, Alliance Club International District-119 organized a seminar on the fundraising project of North Multiple Council Chairman Elly Priyanka Dixit “Reject Plastic Wrap and Accept Cloth Bags” at the local ITI Girls (Kachha Toba) Hoshiarpur.
In which ITI Principal Katan Devi, Elly Ashok Puri and District Governor Elly Ramesh Kumar were specially present. The chairman of this program was Past District Governor Elly Pushpinder Sharma. On the principle of rejecting plastic wrap and accepting cloth bags, the students of ITI, Aanchal, Amrit Pal Kaur, Babanpreet Kaur, Manmeet Kaur, Pinky and Simran Preet Kaur first participated in the discussion.
After honoring these children by Alliance Club, Principal Kanta Devi and Elly Ramesh Kumar gave their views. After that, colorist film artist Elly Ashok Puri inspired the students to turn from plastic to cloth and adopt handicrafts in their lives. The staff Surinder Kaur, Avtar Kaur, Rajwinder Kaur, Deepan Rahela, Kulwinder Kaur, Neelam Rani, Veena, Ramdhik Singh, Amarjit Singh and Davinder Singh made special contributions to make this program a success. At the end of this program, Principal Kanta Devi was honored with the Alliance Club symbol, cloth bag and doshala. Madam Kanta Devi thanked the Alliance Club team for taking the initiative to connect the students with social concerns and requested to organize such events in the future.
