Una, November 09 - A grand Sai Sandhya was organized at Shri Ramlila Ground, Una on Friday evening in memory of late Prof. Simmi Agnihotri, who made an outstanding contribution in the field of social service and education. In this special event, Sufi Brothers Hamsar Hayat Akhtar Nizami and famous singer Gurpreet Guppi adorned the program with spiritual tunes, which touched everyone's heart.
On this occasion, many dignitaries including Himachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, his daughter Dr. Aastha Agnihotri, brother Dr. Rakesh Agnihotri, MLA Vivek Sharma and his wife Mridu Sharma, MLA Sudarshan Bablu, Congress leader Sanjeev Saini were present. Prof. Simmi Agnihotri was born on 29 September 1968, and completed her earthly journey on 9 February 2024. She was a Professor of Public Administration at Himachal Pradesh University and was respected across the state for her scholarship, leadership skills and social contributions. Her teaching and research work has had a profound impact on the education sector of the state, inspiring countless students.
