Even today, when I remember my student life, the saying of our teacher that "Books are the true friends of man" seems more relevant today.Books have been instrumental in guiding life from ancient times to the present. The inspiration from good books has brought astonishing changes in the lives of many great personalities around the world. Excellent books are a testament to the lives of great authors. Books strengthen us mentally and emotionally.

In the current era, we can say that we are technology-centric. Technology holds paramount importance in our daily lives. With time, for the sake of saving time and convenience, technological devices have become essential. Internet accessibility is available today for gathering information on every field and subject. The current generation is distancing itself from books. Students sitting in libraries have very few books in their hands, but they are often engrossed in their mobile phones or laptops.

There was a time when libraries in colleges, universities, and cities used to be bustling with activity. Early mornings saw students engrossed in reading newspapers in the libraries. Every household used to take good care of some books. Books are a treasure trove of knowledge. Books enrich our vocabulary and leave a lasting impression on us.
