New Delhi- Actor Sonu Sood appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today for questioning in a money laundering case related to online betting.
The previous day, former cricketer Yuvraj Singh had also appeared before the federal investigation agency and answered questions. Earlier, the ED had also questioned former cricketers Suresh Raina, Shikhar Dhawan and Robin Uthappa, actor Mimi Chakraborty and Bengali actor Ankush Hazra in the same case. Sonu Sood (52) reached the agency's central Delhi office around 12 noon.
The investigating officers of the case will record the actor's statements under the PMLA. The agency has also questioned some female social media influencers as part of its investigation.
