Jannayak Janta Party submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner regarding compensation for the loss caused by rain and flood in Panchkula district.

Panchkula: Senior officials and workers of Jannayak Janta Party Panchkula, under the leadership of District President OP Sihag, submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Panchkula Satpal Sharma regarding compensation for the loss caused by heavy rain and flood in Panchkula district recently and to get proper compensation from the government. It is noteworthy that due to heavy rain and flood in the entire state including Panchkula and neighboring states, there has been heavy loss of life and property.

Panchkula: Senior officials and workers of Jannayak Janta Party Panchkula, under the leadership of District President OP Sihag, submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Panchkula Satpal Sharma regarding compensation for the loss caused by heavy rain and flood in Panchkula district recently and to get proper compensation from the government. It is noteworthy that due to heavy rain and flood in the entire state including Panchkula and neighboring states, there has been heavy loss of life and property.
While submitting the memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Panchkula, JJP District President Sihag said that due to heavy rain and flood, crops, houses of poor people, shops/establishments have been damaged in Morni Block, Raipur Rani Block, Barwala Block, Kalka and lower areas of Panchkula city of Panchkula district.
Apart from this, there has been a lot of damage due to breaking of bridges on rivers/drains and damage to roads and the general public is facing a lot of difficulties. He said that in many villages of Dagrana, Kharog, Dharali Panchayat and Kudana Panchayat under Morni block, houses have been damaged and the crops of the farmers have also been damaged.
OP Sihag said that similarly, due to floods in the Tagdi river due to heavy rains, hundreds of acres of standing crops of farmers in villages Natwal, Moli, Touda, Naya village of Barwala block have been badly destroyed. JJP District President OP Sihag said that due to heavy rains, many houses with thatched roofs of poor people have collapsed or have been damaged due to waterlogging in many colonies of Raipur Rani, Barwala and many nearby villages. He told the Deputy Commissioner that due to heavy rains, water filled the houses of people in Sector 19, Rajiv Colony, Indira Colony and Beed Ghaghar of Panchkula city, due to which people's valuables got spoiled, causing huge losses.
JJP District President told Deputy Commissioner Panchkula that Jannayak Janata Party Panchkula through you demands from the Haryana Government that for those farmers whose crops have been badly damaged, an order should be passed to get special Girdawari done immediately and at least fifty thousand rupees per acre compensation should be given to the farmers for the damaged crops.
Similarly, the poor people whose houses have collapsed due to rain or have developed cracks and shops / establishments have suffered heavy damage should also be surveyed and proper assistance should be provided to those people so that the affected people can live their lives well. Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma assured the JJP delegation that he will make his full recommendation regarding their memorandum and send it to the Haryana Government for appropriate action.
Among those who gave the memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner today were party's state vice-president KC Bhardwaj, party's state general secretary Harbans Singla, councilor Rajesh Nishad, Panchkula constituency president Sohan Lal Gurjar, state executive member Narendra Jain, senior leader Satbir Dhankhar, Surinder Chadha, Dalit leader Ishwar Singhmar, Ashok Singla, Pratik Ahlawat, Parth, Jaipal Nandal etc.
