S. Chaman Singh (Project Director) while addressing the villagers on the topic of "War Against Drugs" said that the whole of India including Punjab has come under the grip of drugs in which now even small children and girls have started getting addicted to drugs.
Due to this, the governments have also put all their efforts to eradicate drugs from the country. So, all of us should pay special attention to our children and what children are doing. In today's time, more and more youth are getting addicted to drugs.
Due to which the youth and their parents are becoming mentally ill. . Youth are the future of the country, but our youth are falling into the trap of drugs. He explained in detail about the diseases caused by drug use. He also talked about the lives of children that they face many problems, but drugs cannot solve any problem.
Therefore, we should connect our children with history and civilization so that children do not get misled and get caught in bad company. During this, he gave detailed information about the diseases caused by drug use. He also shared many points to stay away from drugs.
Shri Parvesh Kumar (Staff Member) also shared detailed information about the treatment of patients at the center that any drug addict can get free treatment by staying in the center for a month as per his wish, because drugs cannot be given up by staying at home, to give up drugs, it is necessary to approach psychiatrists and drug rehabilitation centers. He also shed light on the background of Red Cross.
On this occasion, Mr. Lakhwinder Ladhar (Sarpanch) created awareness about drugs and thanked the Red Cross team. On this occasion, Panchayat members Bhupinder Singh, (Panch), Sarabjit Kaur (Panch), Gurpreet Kaur (NREGA Mate) Sunita Devi, Vidya Rani, Jagannath, Karan, Joginder, Amarjit Kaur, Kulwinder Singh and other villagers were present.
